Reasons To Book A Fishing Charter With Marlin Quay

Ah, summer vacation. The time of year when the kid’s get let out of school for a few months, the weather heats up and vacations are planned. Whether you are a Myrtle Beach resident or an annual visitor to the Grand Strand, you most likely spend time in Murrells Inlet during this time of year because of the fresh seafood, gorgeous views and the experience. While you are down in the Inlet, why not hop on one of our deep sea fishing charters and spend the day out on the water? Marlin Quay Marina is here to give you a few reasons to book a fishing charter with us this summer!

Unique Fishing Experiences

At Marlin Quay, we boast more than 10 boats in our fleet and each one offers a different experience out on the water. If you wish to stay inshore, in the backwater creeks or jetty, our inshore fishing charters allow passengers to catch Spanish mackerel, bluefish, trout, redfish, flounder and even sharks. Our nearshore fishing trips, which last for a half day and go out up to 15 miles, haul in king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, sea bass, vermillion snapper, grunts and sharks. If you have 12 hours to spend with us, go big on our Gulfstream charter! We will travel 55 to 65 miles offshore and go head to head against tuna, mahi, wahoo, marlin and sailfish.

A One-Stop Shop

The best thing about our deep sea fishing charters is the fact that EVERYTHING is included in your charter fee. We supply the licensing, rod, bait, tackle and even a few drinks. At the end of the trip when we get back to Marlin Quay Marina, your captain will clean and filet all of your fish for you to eat that very night. How convenient is that?

Convenient Location

Since we are located in Murrells Inlet, a few miles south of the heart of Myrtle Beach, we are conveniently located to quite a bit along the Grand Strand. Our marina is down the street from the city of Surfside Beach, which houses the Surfside Pier among many oceanfront condos. Across the water from our marina is the Marshwalk of Murrells Inlet, home to several popular seafood restaurants, including Drunken Jack’s, Wicked Tuna, Dead Dog Saloon and The Claw House. This area is not only known for great seafood, but also for the nightlife.
