Marlin Quay’s offshore fishing charter captains know these waters all too well. We start on the jetties and travel up to 65 miles offshore on one of our large, center console-style and sportfishing boats (the boat size you book will depend on your needs), ranging from 25 to 60 feet long. Charters range from half-day (five hours) to ¾ day (8 hours) to full-day (10 hours) to 12-hour gulfstream lengths of time, so gear up for some serious fishing. We can accommodate up to six anglers on our boats that equipped with sturdy outriggers, downriggers and top-of-the-line electronics and safety equipment.
Get ready for nonstop action! When you’re at a depth of at least 30 meters, you’re in offshore fishing zone, where you will be able to haul in snapper, grouper, triggerfish, black sea bass, mahi-mahi, sharks, wahoo and tuna on the shorter runs. Depending on the season, the possible deep-sea game we’ll encounter could also include red and vermillion snapper, amberjacks, cobia, king mackerel, tuna, wahoo, sailfish and marlin. We’ll go over open season laws and size restrictions, as well as the best methods to muscle in the big one.
You choose to depart from the Marlin Quay dock for your excursion at either 7 a.m. (half-day and ¾ day) or 1 p.m. (half-day).
