It’s been one heck of a summer here at Marlin Quay! Our fishing boats were full of happy fisherman returning to the docks with a bounty of fish and we have been busy constructing our new building which we hope to finish this winter. While this summer has been great and all, it sure has been hot! That is definitely a large drawback to those looking to go out in the water with several hours with one of our fishing charters. With the fall rapidly approaching, here are a few reasons why you should book a fishing charter over the next few months:
Mild Weather
As we previously mentioned, the dog days of summer were pretty brutal this year! It seems as if each summer is getting increasingly warmer than the last. Luckily for all of us, the mild weather is here. Of course, there is the potential of Myrtle Beach being hit with a hurricane over the next 2 months, but aside from that we are smooth sailing. If the extreme heat was a deterrent from you planning a fishing trip with us, that threat is no longer present.
Weekend Getaway
If you and your buddies are looking to get away for a few days to golf, fish and drink ice cold beer, what better place to go than the Grand Strand? Myrtle Beach is the golf capital of the world, so that box is checked. Marlin Quay offers several different fishing experiences in Murrells Inlet, so there’s another check. Beer? Well, you can find that just about anywhere you go in a coastal town!
Plenty of Options
We offer boats that stay along the coast, some that go a few miles out and some that go several miles out. Just let us know what you want to catch and we will make it happen! Our boat Captains have been fishing these waters for several years and don’t quit until you pull in a lunker.
Local Festivals & Things To Do
Cooler weather brings out the events since people actually want to be outside! Once you complete your fishing trip, be sure to check out one of the many festivals going on in the area from Pawleys Island to North Myrtle Beach. Every weekend there’s something going on!
