You can see Brookgreen Gardens come to life amid the soft glow of more than 2,700 candles and countless sparkling lights. Walk the paths with a warm cup of cider, hear the sounds of bells ringing, carolers singing, and celebrate the season with family and friends. Nights of a Thousand Candles is scheduled from 3:00 pm-10:00 pm on select nights from December 5th through December 21st, 2019.
3) Myrtle Beach Christmas Shows
Watching Christmas shows is one of the absolute best things to do in Myrtle Beach during the holidays. Theaters on the Grand Strand pull out all the stops for their holiday productions. Two of the best are The South’s Grandest Christmas Show at the Alabama Theater and Carolina Opry Christmas at Calvin Gilmore Theater.
4) Broadway at the Beach
Christmas charm can be felt throughout Myrtle Beach’s premier entertainment complex the entire month of December. Home to attractions like WonderWorks and Ripley’s Aquarium, families can take in wholesome family entertainment while also enjoying festive decorations. In town for New Year’s Eve? Broadway at the Beach is the place to be! They are hosting a rockin’ New Year’s Party at Celebrity Square with a DJ spinning music, club crawl, and fireworks.
5) Rivertown Christmas Celebration
Held each Thursday evening in Downtown Conway, the Rivertown Christmas Celebration includes a variety of festive activities fun for the whole family. All activities are free for guests, and no reservations are required. Enjoy visits with Santa, carriage rides, hot chocolate and cookies, and candlelight shopping throughout downtown. Moreover, live entertainment will take place to cheer up the evening.
